It’s in heaven… The shop is in the Noordhoek Farm Village nestled amongst the mountains overlooking the Atlantic Ocean .  I MEAN, WHAT??? Will I ever stop pinching myself? And my learning curve is….ok it’s just vertical. Payroll? Invoicing? Oh man. But I’ve never been so excited in my LIFE.  My test kitchen is BUZZING. We’re talking peanut butter creme loaded with peanut butter and dark chocolate truffles, homemade Oreos broken up into vanilla bean cream, caramelised rum banana, Sweet cream with roasted cherries and a fudge ripple, locally brewed IPA and orange marmalade…. watch out, taste buds!! I’m comin’ for ya.

I will be doing “appearances”(haha its just me in an apron) at the Food Barn Deli Friday afternoons, starting Oct 16th. Come by and say HI, give me a hug, tell me that opening a small business is just dandy, and sample some of my bounty.  Ice cream pints will still be for sale online, but also in the deli in limited flavours, until I open(!!!) in December.  OH BOY!!!!

The shop/churnery is being completely refitted. Think- French Provincial meets seaside minimalist in creams and blues. Pending that, the grand opening will be announced once the refit is done and the locally beaded chandelier is hung. There will be fireworks, Dom for everyone, karmic enlightenment, and Victor Matfield is the scoopster.  Or- Just a lot of Kick-Ass ice cream, neighbours saying hi, and happy tummies. SAME.
